RESULTS OF KAZBUILD AND AQUATHERM ALMATY 2025: EXHIBITION GROWTH, INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION, AND NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, HVAC, AND WATER SUPPLY INDUSTRIES

FROM 3 TO 5 SEPTEMBER 2025, THE 31ST INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION AND INTERIOR EXHIBITION KAZBUILD 2025 AND THE 17TH INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF HOUSEHOLD AND INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT FOR HEATING, WATER SUPPLY, PLUMBING, AIR CONDITIONING AND VENTILATION AQUATHERM ALMATY 2025 WERE SUCCESSFULLY HELD IN ALMATY.

 The events traditionally gathered 8,886 unique visitors from different countries around the world. Visitors emphasized that the exhibition is a platform for new cooperation opportunities. "We found new partners for potential collaboration, and also met many long-time colleagues from the industry, which is especially valuable for maintaining business connections. The exhibition is evolving, with new pavilions and exhibits, and this is what makes it an important event for all market participants." - noted Denis Veretennikov, Sales Department, LLP SMU KZ.

The exhibitions were held in four pavilions and an outdoor exhibition at the Atakent Exhibition Center, bringing together 639 companies from 30 countries. Notably, this year marks the 31st time the exhibition is held, and the number of exhibitors has also increased by 31%. For the first time, the exhibition was expanded with an additional Pavilion 8, allowing for more space to present new solutions and technologies. Visitors also shared their opinions on the exhibition and its advantages: "The exhibition is always logically structured: starting with basic structural solutions, tools, and drilling machines, and ending with paints and modern equipment. It is especially pleasing that the exhibition expands year by year while maintaining a convenient structure," said Dilyara Seitnurova, Deputy Director, LLP KazSMU.

Participants and guests of KazBuild 2025 were able to see the most advanced developments, products, and technologies presented by more than 414 companies from 26 countries, including Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, Greece, Israel, Indonesia, Iran, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, the Netherlands, Norway, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Finland, France, the Czech Republic, and South Korea. National stands were presented by countries such as Germany, the UAE, and Poland, while collective exhibitions were organized by Azerbaijan, Iran, China, and Russia. The expo event brought together 101 domestic companies and 313 international participants, securing its status as a key platform for the construction industry in Kazakhstan and the global market, with 34% of exhibitors participating for the first time, indicating a growing interest from new players in the region's development prospects. An exhibitor, Gipsovinil.kz, shared their impression and noted its effectiveness: "The exhibition is attractive because it offers large-scale advertising, and many people visit our stand. We made a great statement and showed very good results thanks to the KazBuild exhibition."

Parallel to KazBuild, the Aquatherm Almaty 2025 exhibition, dedicated to the HVAC and water supply industry, was held. It featured 225 companies from 16 countries, including Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, the UAE, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, the Czech Republic, and South Korea. Companies from Germany and Turkey presented their solutions in national stands, while companies from China and Uzbekistan participated in collective exhibitions. The expo event became a center of attraction for 56 domestic companies and 169 international participants, demonstrating the growing interest in the region and its potential.

In addition to the extensive exhibition, the events included a rich business program. The exhibitions began with a Plenary Session on the topic "Law, Digital, Intelligence: Developing Kazakhstan's Construction Industry through Synergy," featuring speakers from the Industry Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Association of Designers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty, the Union of Builders of Kazakhstan in Almaty, the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA), CAD.kz, and the KAZGOR Project Academy. The business program also included Round Tables of Russian construction associations, Plix.kz, the Union of Architects of Kazakhstan with the participation of international bureaus. The Professional TANU Association and AND Asia conducted master classes and interactive sessions on restoration. The presentation of the Technical Institute of Construction from Prague and the architectural battle from the Haast bureau attracted particular interest. Another significant event was the 3rd Championship of Installers "Technar PRO Kazakhstan 2025," the Big Window Forum, and the Installer Show by Window+ School. The business program concluded with a strategic session from the Almaty branch of Panasonic. Additionally, during the three days of the exhibition, participating companies held seminars for exhibition guests.

The KazBuild and Aquatherm Almaty exhibitions confirmed their reputation as key events in their fields, demonstrating significant growth in interest from participants from all over the world.
