TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

I “ACCURATE AND FAST” TECHNICAL COMPETITION

In the "Precise and Fast" category, participants must create a competitive module, "radiator," which will be graphically depicted on a panel. The workspace will have fittings and fixtures necessary for assembling the module. The participant independently fabricates the required parts during the competition time. They assemble the product and secure it to the panel. In case of an error, reordering is possible with the addition of penalty points. The winner is the participant with the shortest working time (the fastest) and the fewest penalty points (the most precise). All that is required from the participant is two healthy hands, a head on their shoulders, and a positive attitude. Everything else is provided by the organizer.

Procedure of execution:

  • Registration
  • Take the place of the participant and report the willingness
  • Press the “start” button on the stopwatch
  • Evaluate the available materials, select the right ones for work, remove the extra ones in a box from the working area (give it to an expert)
  • Assemble the “radiator” product and fix it on the control panel

Assembly of the module requires tightness of the connections. Tests with excess pressure of 15 bars for 2 minutes. The necessary tools are provided by the organizers

  • To press the “stop” button on the stopwatch and record the result in the checklist

  • To collect the guaranteed prizes

  • Important: Take a photo in the photo zone, share information with friends and colleagues, talk to the organizers about the profession. Confirm registration for the next year.

  • To wait for the announcement of the results of the day and collect the super prize (if possible)

Checkpoints:

The participant assesses the compliance with the drawings independently during the competition time. After the COMPLETION of the module, ONLY A HERMETIC product complying with the drawing is accepted for credit. In case of a mistake, it is possible to additionally order any materials from the expert. An additional order is a penalty point. One element - one penalty point. The pipe fastening (clamp for fastening pipes) is screwed until the steel halves touch, without excessive force, there is no play.

II “ONE LEFT” ENTERTAINING COMPETITION

In a secret (opaque) box, samples of shut-off and control valves and fittings will be placed. Photographs (schematic representations) of the elements with numbers will be attached to the control panel. The participant, inserting their arm up to the elbow into the box, identifies the element by touch with their left hand and places it in the corresponding numbered tray. The back wall of the box is absent, and spectators are allowed to give hints if they can. The winner is the participant with the shortest working time (the fastest) and the fewest penalty points (the most precise).

  • Blindly take out the fitting and put it in the box with the number on the picture. Arrange all elements in their boxes
  • Press the "stop" button on the stopwatch
  • Take a guaranteed prize
  • Take a memorable photo and share on your social networks
  • Confirm registration for next year
  • Wait for the announcement of the results of the day

Checkpoints:

After completing the module, the expert opens the box and, in the presence of the participant, fixes the correct layout in accordance with the control card. A penalty point is assigned for each mistake.
