13 MILLION SQUARE METERS OF NEW HOUSING TO BE BUILT IN KAZAKHSTAN IN 2019

"In 2018, 12.5 mln.sq.meters of new residential facilities (113 thousand housings) was commissioned. Growth to the level of 2017 amounted to + 12.1%. The mechanisms for support of low-income families were developed under the instructions of Nursultan Nazarbayev given during the XVIII Congress of the Nur Otan Party.
350 bln. tenge was allocated for the construction and purchase of rental housing for large families for 7 years. During this period, the construction of 6 thousand rental apartments will be provided annually. It was already this May when akimats began distributing rental housing for large families," said the head of the MIID of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Roman Sklyar, at the reporting meeting with the population of Kazakhstan.
At the same time, the country is additionally introducing loans for low-income large families, single-parent families, and families with children with disabilities through the Housing Construction Saving Bank at 2% interest rate per annum.
