3.4 MLN.SQ.METERS OF HOUSING WERE COMMISSIONED IN RK IN JANUARY-APRIL. NUR-SULTAN.

KAZAKHINFORM - IN KAZAKHSTAN VOLUME OF COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION WORKS AND SERVICES IN JUNARY-APRIL 2019 WAS 625.5 BLN. TENGE, WHICH IS 8.4% HIGHER THAN IN THE SAME PERIOD OF 2019, INFORMS THE KAZINFORM’S CORRESPONDENT CITING THE COMMITTEE ON STATISTICS OF THE MINISTRY OF NATIONAL ECONOMY OF RK.

Str4During the reporting period, the biggest volume of works was completed in construction of engineering structures - 136.8 bln. tenge, industrial buildings - 102.1 bln. tenge, residential housing - 90.3 bln. tenge, highways, streets, roads, railways, bridges, and tunnels - 66.1 bln. tenge, facilities for mining and processing industry - 50 bln. tenge.

The volume of construction and installation works increased by 9.7% and was 547.6 bln. tenge. In its turn, the volume of construction works on general overhauling increased by 7.4%, on minor repairs decreased by 8.3%.

The construction of 13,766 new buildings was completed, including 13,050 residential and 716 non-residential. In particular, 3 secondary schools, 19 pre-school organizations and an outpatient polyclinic organization were commissioned.

In January-April 2019, 321.9 billion tenge was allocated for housing construction, which is 14.3% more than the volume of investment in housing construction in January-April 2018.

In the total volume of investments in fixed assets, the share of assimilated funds in housing construction was 11%. The main source of housing financing is the own funds of developers, whose share is 86.1%.

The total area of commissioned residential buildings amounted to 3,464 thousand square meters, including individual developers - 1,999.7 thousand square meters. The volume index of housing commissioned by January-April last year was 97.4%.

The average actual cost of building a square meter of housing in apartment buildings in January-April of this year amounted to 140.3 thousand tenge and in residential houses built by individual developers - 83.7 thousand tenge.
