HITHERM: STEEL PRESS-FITTING SYSTEMS FOR ENGINEERING NETWORKS
The Italian company HITHERM, founded in 2012, manufactures press-fitting systems made of stainless steel and galvanized carbon steel under the brands HTpress, HTfire, HTair and Numepress. The product range covers diameters from 15 to 168.3 mm, with an “M” profile and operating pressure up to 16 bar.
HITHERM press-fitting systems are used for water supply, heating, air conditioning, fire protection, compressed air, gas and solar thermal energy systems. They are widely applied in civil and industrial construction, cogeneration systems, mechanical engineering and shipbuilding.
Press-fitting technology is a modern alternative to welding: calibrated steel pipes and fittings are installed using a cold pressing method — a fast, cost-efficient and reliable solution. EPDM and FKM sealing rings provide an operating temperature range from –20 °C to +200 °C.
The company’s production facility covers 14,000 m², with an additional 5,000 m² of warehouse space, ensuring constant product availability and fast worldwide delivery.
The products are certified with 28 international certificates, including certification for domestic gas applications, and feature patented coatings for fire protection and compressed air systems. The company provides a product warranty of up to 10 years.
