Dear ladies and gentlemen!
On behalf of the Almaty city akimat I am sincerely glad to welcome the participants and guests of the 13th International Exhibition for Domestic and Industrial Equipment for Heating, Water Supply, Sanitary, Air-Conditioning and Ventilation Equipment - Aquatherm Almaty 2021!
Throughout its history, the exhibition has become an effective platform for demonstrating innovative products and technologies, for meetings with representatives of the state apparatus and leaders of the construction industry, as well as for further increasing the competitiveness of domestic building materials and attracting investment in construction in Kazakhstan.
According to the RFCA Rating Agency, construction in the Republic of Kazakhstan, despite the significant negative effect of the coronavirus pandemic, remains one of the actively developing industries in the country. Despite the pandemic, the number of housing commissioned in 2020 increased by 16% compared to 2019, and reached 15 million square meters.
The volume of investments in the construction industry has grown by a trillion tenge.
It should be noted that the Aquatherm Almaty exhibition is the largest in terms of area and number of participants in all of Central Asia, annually attracting specialists from the construction industry and the HVAC industry, designers and architects from all over the world, thereby establishing a direct dialogue and exchange of professional experience, which is especially important after a long a break in offline expo events.
I sincerely wish all participants and guests of the exhibition fruitful work, new promising contracts and long-term cooperation with new business partners!

This year we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Over the years, our countries have become important strategic partners for each other and have managed to build trusting, good-neighborly relations.
This is evidenced by the participation in exhibitions of a large number of Russian companies that are interested in cooperation, despite the difficulties caused by the long-term impact of the coronavirus on the economic situation of our countries.
Construction industry exhibitions are important events as they serve as an indicator of the current state of affairs in the industry. In the current realities, one of the main priority areas for further business cooperation is the digitalization of the construction industry, which acts as a serious incentive for qualitative changes in any industry.
I am sure that exhibitions will once again become a place for the consolidation of the most effective solutions, the application of innovative developments and the demonstration of the latest products, as well as a platform for solving current issues of the construction business community.

The construction industry in Kazakhstan plays an important role in the scale of the economy of the entire country. Therefore, development, further modernization of the construction sector and the application of the latest solutions will be the key to recovering the industry after a pandemic time. The positive impetus in construction is due to the anti-crisis measures taken by the Government, which ensures the entrepreneurial activity of construction companies and the employment of the population.
Obviously, specialists in the construction sector have something to discuss in live contact, as well as outline vectors for the further development of the construction, interior and design sectors.
The specialized exhibition Aquatherm Almaty annually acts as a platform where the most advanced materials and technologies of domestic and international production are consolidated. Being an effective dialogue platform, this year the exhibition will become a place for discussion of topical issues of the industry and further ways of its development, as well as open up huge opportunities for finding new forms of interaction!
