“Amitech Astana” LLP (Amitech Astana) is a part of one of the leaders in development and manufacture of pipe technologies. The Amiantit Group is an international concern founded in 1968 in Saudi Arabia with a history of success on the world arena. The leading branch of the concern “Amiantit” is the production of fiberglass pipes of the brand “Flowtite”.

The pipe plant “Amitech Astana” LLP was put into operation on June 10, 2005 in the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana. Since that time the plant has participated in various projects in the sphere of water supply, water disposal and construction in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and other countries of the near and far abroad. “Amitech Astana” is the undisputed leader in sales and production of Flowtite fiberglass pipes in CIS countries. In addition to the local market, its products are exported to Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and other countries of the region. The project of construction and putting into operation was financed by the Development Bank of Kazakhstan.

CAPACITY OF THE ENTERPRISE UP TO 400 KM PIPES PER YEAR
The management of the production process, all components and assemblies is fully computerized, which makes it possible to obtain complete control over the mechanical characteristics of the finished product.

ACCREDITED LABORATORY OF THE ENTERPRISE Each pipe and coupling with a nominal pressure class above 1 of atmosphere go through hydraulic tests in the factory with a 2-fold margin, and testing is conducted for compliance with the class of stiffness, axial and annular strength and compliance with the FLOWTITE Production Specifications.

Fiberglass pipes FLOWTITE is a composite material consisting of three main components:
1. Matrix-PE resins
2. Reinforcing Fiber - ECR, ECT fiberglass
3. Filler - Quartz sand

RESISTANCE TO CORROSION
Long-term period of successful operation. There is no need for additional use of protective coatings, layers, cathodic protection and other measures of protection against corrosion. Low operating costs. Hydraulic characteristics are practically unchanged over time.

SMALL SPECIFIC WEIGHT
(1/4 OF THE SPECIFIC WEIGHT OF THE PIPE IS MADE OF SPHEROIDAL CAST IRON, 1/10 OF THE SPECIFIC MASS - CONCRETE PIPE)
Low transportation costs (pipes can be pushed through each other during transportation). There is no need to use heavy and expensive machines and equipment to lay pipelines.

EXCELLENT HYDRAULIC CHARACTERISTICS
Extremely smooth internal surface. Hazen-Williams flow coefficient is C=150 (approximately). Small friction on the pipe walls means less energy for pumping and lower operating costs. Manning’s flow coefficient is n = 0.009.
Minimizing bottom sediments means lowering the cost of cleaning. Excellent abrasion resistance.

FLOWTITE PERFECT CONNECTIONS WITH ELASTOMER SEAL
Tight, efficient connections designed to prevent leakage in both directions. Simplified pipe connections reduce pipeline installation time.
Couplings neutralize small axial and transverse displacements caused by different settlement speed, and which do not require the installation of additional fittings.

FLEXIBLE PRODUCTION PROCESS
The possibility of producing pipes with a non-standard diameter by the order of a recipient, which allows you to maximize the flow.

TECHNICALLY ADVANCED PIPE CONSTRUCTION
The presence of many pressure classes and rigidity means freedom of design for designers. The phase velocity of the flow wave is lower compared to other materials, which makes it possible to reduce the costs of laying the pipelines already at the stage of design calculations for hydraulic shocks and sudden changes in pressure.
