Exhibitors’ opinion 2014
Aqua-Therm Almaty 2 -5 September 2014
Aleksandar Rakovic, Pestan (Serbia)
It is our first time at Aqua-Therm Almaty. We were interested in Kazkahstan as our company and products are directly connected to the building industry and we understand that the building industry here is quite strong at the moment. We believe that after the show we will have some customers here in Kazkahstan as we have met a number of potential clients.
Roza Grigorian, Export Area Manager, FLOWAIR (Poland)
Kazkahstan is a country with a lot of possibilities, the market is increasing and we believe that being present here is the future. I am happy with the visitors I have seen this year and hope to sign some contracts following the show. I would recommend other international companies come here as the local people are open to new products.
Joachim Klose, Export Sales Manager, Quinn radiators (UK/Belgian)
The Kazakh market is currently dominated by aluminium radiators which will change, for this reason it is definitely an advantage to be the one of the first steel radiator producers in the market. We have met distributors, installers and planning offices for big housing projects. If we get a distributor I am quite sure we will participate at the next edition.
Andro Amiranashvili, Sales Manager, Fresh (Egypt)
Kazakhstan is a very good market, we already have a few customers here but wanted to expand on this by exhibiting at AquaTherm. We would advise international companies to come to Kazakhstan.
Andrei Pevgonen, Sales Director, Hogfors (Finland)
Finland has a good reputation in Kazakhstan and the surrounding countries, it is an advantage for us to market our products as being from Finland.
Radek Plevak, Sales Manager – Export, REMAK (Czech Republic)
This is our first time at Aqua-Therm Almaty although we have been cooperating with a partner in Kazkahstan for about 10 years. We have come this time as part of a national group with CzechTrade. We thought it would be a good meeting point for current customers and partners. Kazkahstan is growing up and because of this is an interesting market.
Zuzana Vickova, Export Sales Director, mmcite (Czech Republic)
It is not only our first time in Kazahstan but also Central Asia. We came here to search for new possibilities. We have been surprised how well the show has gone for us. We haven't had a huge amount of visitors but all the ones we have had are specialised in what we do so we can see that the market is open and that there is interest.
